Investing in our Patients With Advanced Technology

As part of our commitment to provide the best eye care to our patients, we are constantly enhancing our innovation edge by investing in cutting edge technology and offering only the best for our patients. At Amplify EyeCare Santa Clarita we have an advanced retinal camera to produce a high definition image of the inside of the eye. With retinal imaging we can better prevent and diagnose disease in a simple, quick and patient-friendly method. It is critical to evaluate the health of the retina, optic nerve and other retinal structures. The digital camera snaps a high-resolution digital picture of your retina. This picture clearly shows the health of your eyes and is used as a baseline to track any changes in your eyes in future eye examinations. Our office also has advanced technology for neuro optometry, vision therapy, advanced contact lenses, specialty prism  lenses, visual fields and functional vision.

Vision Care Beyond 20/20

Vision Therapy

There are many visual symptoms and challenges which you or your child may be experiencing that we can help treat in an effective and non-invasive way using vision therapy. Vision involves so much more than seeing 20/20. We each have a complex visual system in which both of our eyes must work as a team with each other and with our brain in order to see in an optimal way and if anything in the system is not working properly or in sync it can cause disturbances in our visual experience. You can take the Vision Symptom Assessment if you want to learn more if vision therapy can help you.

Low Vision

As we age, the likelihood of vision deterioration due to eye diseases increases. These typically age-related vision issues include diseases like macular degeneration and glaucoma. Your ophthalmologist will provide treatment to prevent your condition from deteriorating further, while a low vision optometrist will help you maximize your remaining vision. While standard vision correction, such as glasses or contact lenses, can help in the earlier stages, there comes a point where they are no longer effective. However, Dr. McBryar’s low vision treatment services provide several options that can help. Through the use of special vision aids, we train patients to use their remaining eyesight so they can function independently and enjoy a high quality of life.
